ONEOHTRIX POINT NEVER – AGE OF VINYL (LP)

Description

Release Date: 1st June 2018

The Brooklyn experimental musician, composer and producer Daniel Lopatin, aka Oneohtrix Point Never, brings us his tenth album and his most accessible and collaborative under his Oneohtrix moniker. Age Of is an act of the sense which pairs beautiful motifs and melodies in stark contrast against abrasive, visceral sounds. If there was ever a time to give Oneoh a go, it’s now!

FFO: Tim Hecker, Blanck Mass, Actress, Bon Iver

“Oneohtrix Point Never releases Age Of, an album of new music on Warp Records. It’s Daniel Lopatin’s most cohesive and richly composed work to date, weaving a tapestry of disparate musical histories — early music, country and folk balladry, melodic pop, computer music and much, much more — that demonstrate both the complexity and range of the artist’s repertoire. With sounds that are unsettlingly familiar and uniquely his own, Age Of guides us through an unclassifiable new world.”
