Description

LIMITED EDITION WHITE & BLACK VINYL + EXCLUSIVE PRINTS + POSTER

Release Date: 6th May 2016

Skyscraping genreless anthems from ex-WU LYFer Ellery James Roberts and Ebony Hoorn. Spiritual Songs… is kind of hard to describe because it’s massive. Both in terms of the styles it encompasses and sheer crushing volume. It’s raspy-throated soaring sloganeering rock music somehow Bruce Springsteen My Bloody Valentine and U fucking 2 all at once. But it’s also a pupils-dilated arms-aloft dance record aided no doubt by The Haxan Cloak who mans the boards here. It’s angry and resigned joyous and melancholy cynical and naïve all at once. Lost under heaven? Play it fucking loud and Spiritual Songs… might help you find your way.
